Models

Every video model CastTake runs, what each costs per second in credits, what a 5-second clip comes to, and which to pick for testing versus promotion.

What this page is

Every model this product can run, what it costs you, and where the number came from. One credit is one US cent. A generation is quoted before you submit and the credits reserved are that same number, so nothing here is an estimate that gets revised after the fact.

A model that is not on this page cannot be generated. That is enforced in code rather than by convention: the price list is the register of what exists, so a model with no price is unroutable rather than free.

Grok is the model the free plan includes, and it is priced so that one day of the welcome credits buys exactly one finished five-second ad rather than a fragment of one.

Which one to pick

Grok Imagine 1.5 for testing angles. It is the cheapest thing here by a factor of three and a half, it is the fastest to come back, and at 480p it is already past the resolution most of a phone feed is watched at. If you are generating ten hooks to find the one that works, generate them here.

MiniMax H3 for the one you are going to spend money promoting. It renders at 720p and 1080p and it accepts a reference image, which is how a presenter stays the same person across a campaign rather than drifting between batches.

The order matters more than the choice: test wide on the cheap model, finish the winner on the expensive one. Generating everything at 1080p costs five and a half times as much and does not make a weak script work.

Where these numbers come from

Each rate is that model's measured provider cost with a fixed gross margin applied, not a number picked to look competitive. Grok was measured on one real generation on 2026-09-03: five seconds, billed exactly as the provider's own per-second rate predicted. H3 was read off the live account the same day.

The 1080p row for H3 is not the 720p row scaled by a general rule. That model's own resolution step is steeper than the industry-typical one, and quoting it at the typical step would have sold 1080p below the margin floor without anything about the request looking wrong.

What is not here

No image models. This product generates video with speech in it; image generation is a different product and pricing it here would only tell you about something you cannot buy.

No per-model quality claims beyond the table. Which model produces a better ad for your product is decided by the script and the angle far more than by the renderer, and any ranking we published would be marketing rather than a measurement you could check.
